The Marshalltown High School Activities Department is proud to announce another successful year for the annual Bobcat Golf Outing Fundraiser. Held on Thursday, June 19, this year’s event raised an estimated $29,000 all of which will directly support Bobcat activities and student-athletes.
“We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our sponsors, participants, and the Marshalltown community,” said MHS Activities Director Ryan Isgrig. “It was another successful event, and it’s always rewarding to see how many people step up to support our students and programs. Seeing so many supporters out on the course made for a great day and reminded us why it’s always great to be a Bobcat.”
This year's event drew more than 240 golfers to the American Legion Golf Course, resulting in a fantastic turnout and a great day on the greens.
In the morning session, the Mark Rhode Team of Tom Apgar, Mark Rhode, Mark Collison, and Craig Cordt took first place honors with a -17, while the afternoon’s top finishers was the Jeff Isgrig (77’) Group of Jeremy Ruddick, Brad Clement, Jeff Isgrig, and Grant Brintnall shooting a -15.
Individual awards included:
Longest Drive Hole #4: Joel Chandler
Closest to the Pin Hole #7: Adam Goodvin
The Marshalltown Community School District extends its sincere thanks to all participants, sponsors, and volunteers who made this event possible. Your generous contributions play a vital role in enhancing the experiences and opportunities available to our Bobcat students.
